LAST OF JANUARY

Well it is the last week of January, so hard to believe... This month has just flown by so quick... only 4 MONTHS OF COLLEGE LEFT!!!!!!! I'm asking everyone who reads this blog to please pray for my great aunt that lives in olive branch... she had a heartattack early Monday morning and the prognosis is not good at all... the doctors have said that it is in the Lord's hands. Her kidneys have started to shut down and her lungs are beginning to fill with fluid. She is such a sweet lady and loves her family so please keep her and her family in your prayers. I will post another blog later on this week on her condition and what's going on in college... I would like to just say really quickly that President Barack Obama is doing great in office and I agree what he has done with the closing of Gitmo and the lobbying!!!!

First Blog of 2009

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!! Sorry so late on writing a blog for the new year but soooo busy with college and all... This semester I am taking another handful of classes once again. My major is still History so it looks like I'm going to do that... This semester I am taking Physical Science II w/Lab, Western Civ II, American Lit II, Spanish I, and Computer Concepts!!! I really think that I am going to love the Computer Concepts course. I have the same professors again for history and science courses. I am hoping that this year will be a great year considering that I am going to be graduating from ICC in May and I will be a student at Mississippi State University... GO DAWGS!!!!!!! I am super excited about January 20, 2009 because the man that I voted for will be taking the office as President of the United States!!!! GOBAMA!!!!!!!! I have made some people mad about it but don't really care! LOL!!!!! I didn't set any goals for this year b/c the last time I did last year none of them were met so I figure that this will be a good way to accomplish something!!

after a 3 month absence

Well after a 3 month absence from blogging I think that it is time that I start back. Since my last post, I have started my 3 semester at ICC and I'm taking 16 hours. So far classes have been going very well. On my midterm I had 3 A's and 3 B's. Pretty good huh. Last week I went down to Jackson for the Annual Mississippi State Fair. I was glad that I went. I saw some friends that I haven't seen in over a year. LOTS OF FUN!!!! This past weekend, I went to the Mississippi 4-H All-Stars Campout and had a blast. We did some canooing on the lake and that was a workout. Then with the help of good friend John Long we shot bow and arrows for almost 2 hours. We did this last year at our campout and I was afraid that I would not remember how John said to turn the bow slightly to the right when I shot. He also showed us pictures of his first child Mary Audrey Long.... she is the cutest baby that I have ever seen. After that we went to Wise Farms and had a weenie roast and rode on the haywagon and went through the cornmaze. We then went back to camp and played chickenfoot til 3:00 AM and then sat up discussing politics!!!! We got up Sunday morning and John did a short service by the lake and it was very good. He read from Psalms 9:1-2. I was glad that he read from that scripture because it made me rethink somethings. After that we made bags for the Operation Millitary Kids. We cut out our bags from the material and then sowed them on the sowing machine. That was the first time I ever used one of those things. It is like driving a car. I can't wait til next year when we all get back together and do it again. This morning I was so tired from all the fun that I had, I was barely able to keep my eyes open. I got the grade back on my third speech I gave. I made a 96 out of 100 pts. And now I have to give another speech in two weeks. I don't know who or what I'm going to do it on. I am open to suggestions!!!

not a good day.

Well today is another one of those days. I have had the worst headache ever known to mankind. I didn't even go to my math class tonight so who really cares. On top of that... my grandmother went to the doctor today in Tupelo and he has put her in the hospital. We really don't know what is wrong with her. I am afraid that she doesn't have much time left. Her health has gone down hill over the past week really really quick. I think that alot of it is old age. But she is a warrior and a fighter so she still has a lot of life left in her. So please pray for her!!!

weekend plans

Well it is finally Friday!!!! The weekend is here. NO CLASSES NEXT WEEK!!!! I plan on sleeping in late all next week but I was going to do that anyways since it's summer. No college algebra!!!! THANK GOD!!! I'm going to go swimming and go to the wellness center and do my thing and shoot fireworks next friday night!! Sunday we having homecoming at our church and we going to eat some good southern cooking... cant wait for that. And I have finally made up my mind on who I am going to vote for in November for President of the United States. It is my first time to vote for the office of president. I am endorcing Barack Obama as the next President of the United States! I know some people who are going to be pissed off for my backing Barack. My dad sure doesn't like it! But he will get over it!

Just another day

Well... Today has been one of those days where I just want to go back to sleep. I have been so tired all day. I went to the wellness center today and got some new machines that I get to work out on and I am very sore. After that, I went home and did some of my work that I had to get done for my internet classes and I have mid-terms starting tomorrow! YEAH FUN!!!! NOT!!!!!!!! I got my second test back in my college algebra class and I made 20pts higher this time than I did on my first test. And I have another test this Thursday. So far, I hate summer classes!!! I don't think that I will take anymore online classes. I have been glued to America's Got Talent and it is really good. I am so ready for the weekend!!!!

My First Blog!!

I can't believe that I finally got a blog!!!! I don't know what I should put on it but here we go. I started my internet classes yesterday and I'm trying to learn how this crap works. I went to 4-H Club Congress last week and had a blast. I saw many of my old friends that I haven't seen in over a year. I had some really good pics taken and I will post them on facebook really soon and I may put some on here.
